A set W  V is said to be a resolving set of G, if the vertices in G have distinct representation with respect to W. A set W  V is said to be a star resolving set (denoted by sr-set) if W resolves G and it induces a star. The minimum cardinality of W is called the star resolving number and is denoted by sr(G). In this paper, we determine the star resolving number of honeycomb related architectures.

Keywords :resolving set, connected resolving set, star, star resolving number, honeycomb network, honeycomb rectangular mesh.
